Busywork is a satirical workplace survival game built by someone who has survived enough of it to be specific about the wound.
Busywork is published under U3 Play, the games imprint of U3 Labs, LLC— a small studio out of Orlando, Florida. One person is building this. No funding round, no growth team, no quarterly board deck. Solo because there isn't a team yet; would love one. Mostly stealth because that's how I work. When there's something worth showing, I show it.
The thesis is one sentence: fake work has real consequences. Most workplace humor punches up at corporate culture and runs out of breath after the punchline. We're trying to put you inside the system. NORM watches because the system watches.
What we promise:
- No loot boxes. No energy timers. No artificial urgency. It is in writing.
- No real names. No real companies. No punching down at the people the system has chewed up.
